This is Julien & Maci. My team photographed their Pacific Northwest wedding just over a year ago at the High Desert Museum in Bend, Oregon. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend the wedding because my wife was 9 months pregnant, and ready to pop any day! I knew that I still wanted to take some portraits for them at some point, and a couple months ago I had a conversation with Brittany Shunk, owner of The Bridal Suite and we got the wheels turning. While she immediately thought of the perfect outfits for Julien & Maci, I knew the exact location I wanted to do the shoot. Boardman State Park! Its such a stunning and dramatic section of coastline. Summer Robbins (the best florist around) happily agreed to make a fun dried flower bouquet and boutonniere, and absolutely killed it! I also wanted to bring my good friend Bubba Sellars (adventure and lifestyle photographer), he was immediately in, was a huge help and contributed some excelent images to the set. We had an amazing time on the coast, and these photos are some of my favorite that I have ever taken!
